Strategy - Distressed Notes

The capital markets upheaval which occurred during 2007 and 2008 in commercial and residential real estate and the resulting need for liquidity in the debt markets led PacVentures to launch a specific initiative to identify and invest in distressed, non-performing, and performing notes held by lending institutions. PacVentures has been successful at both acquiring notes at a discount to earn higher yields and to acquire non-performing notes with the objective to ultimately own the real estate.
